ABOUT US

Orchard Vale Trust is a charity based in Somerset and has been operating for over 30 years. We support adults with learning disabilities to live life to the full by providing personalised support and enabling independence through a number of different projects throughout the community. 

Personalisation is at the core of every Orchard Vale Trust activity, focusing on people, their aims, wishes and ambitions. This means we tailor our support to over 100 people, through residential homes and community activities, depending on their needs and wants and interests.  

Our staff are highly qualified as well as highly dedicated to supporting individuals on a personal level and we are led by 12 Trustees, who volunteer their time to give advice and direction on governance and the general activities of the Charity. All are skilled professionals, as well as some family members of those receiving support from Orchard Vale Trust. 

It is their dedication and expertise that sits as a foundation on which OVT stands and operates, setting us in a leading position for delivering care and support to people with learning disabilities in Somerset.
